CINCINNATI — UC is adding Kentucky transfer guard Kerr Kriisa from the transfer portal to start their additions this cycle. The veteran guard announced the move on Sunday for his final season of eligibility.

Kriisa transferred to Kentucky last season and got injured early in conference play before missing the rest of the season. The 24-year-old suffered a foot injury in Kentucky’s win over Gonzaga on Dec. 7 and didn’t return to the court afterward.

Kriisa averaged 4.4 points and 3.8 assists in 17.3 minutes per game with the Wildcats after time at Arizona and West Virginia. He is getting a medical redshirt for his final season and should be a solid, fresh ballhandler at 6-3, 185 pounds. The veteran averaged 11 points and 4.7 assists with WVU in 2023-24 on 42.4% shooting from outside.

He sports a solid 54.1% career true shooting rate, including 79.1% from the line.
